Our Mission:

The mission of the Southern Nevada Transit Coalition is to serve and lead its diverse membership through advocacy, innovation and information sharing to strengthen and expand public transportation in Southern Nevada.

Our History:

The Southern Nevada Transit Coalition was incorporated in June of 2002 as part of the Nevada Department of Transportation’s Public Rural Ride (Pride) program.  Silver Rider Transit is the organizational branding of the Southern Nevada Transit CoalitionThe Southern Nevada Transit Coalition is a private, non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization.  It is one of two regional transit coalitions in Nevada and founded on the belief that public transportation can be improved by encouraging cooperation and cost sharing among organizations with interests in transit.

  • P endorsement
  • Air Brake Certification
  • Medical Card
  • Copy of 5-year Driving Record
  • Background Check Required

SNTC meeting dates, times, and agendas. Meetings are open to the public and community participation is encouraged. The SNTC board meetings takes place in the RTC’s Administrative Building at 600 S. Grand Central Parkway, (except where noted). Please check with security upon arrival for the room number.
